I was recently honored to be invited by Belinda Sandor, founder of The VA Connection, to be part of the VA School Success Story Panel. Even more meaningful, I was able to share the stage with an incredible group of women entrepreneurs who, like me, built thriving virtual assistant businesses through the training and support of VA School.
My Journey from Homeschooling Mom to Virtual Assistant
For 18 years, my full-time role was homeschooling my daughter. It was fulfilling and life-shaping, but when that chapter closed, I knew I wanted something new—something that would allow me to use my organizational skills, love for supporting others, and drive for independence.
That’s when I discovered VA School.
Through Belinda’s program and the supportive community inside The VA Connection, I learned how to turn my skills into a sustainable work from home career. Step by step, I built Wrennovate Business Solutions, and today I run a successful virtual assistant business supporting entrepreneurs, executives, and small business owners.
Discovering VA School and The VA Connection
What drew me to VA School was more than just its reputation. It was Belinda’s ability to break down the steps of starting a business into something simple and achievable. As the founder of The VA Connection, she created not only a powerful training program but also a vibrant community where VAs support one another and share their journeys.
Why VA School Works for Virtual Assistants
The biggest shift for me wasn’t just learning the “how-to” of running a VA business—it was gaining the confidence to know I could do this. VA School provided:
- Virtual assistant training that took the mystery out of client acquisition, contracts, and setting up a business.
- A supportive community of entrepreneurs sharing experiences, encouragement, and advice.
- Accountability and confidence that made building a work from home business feel possible.
VA School doesn’t just teach skills—it equips you to start landing clients, earn income, and build a flexible career.
Launching Wrennovate Business Solutions
With the tools I gained, I launched Wrennovate Business Solutions, a company that provides executive-level support and operations management to business owners and entrepreneurs. From administrative support to project management, I’ve been able to create a business that works on my terms while delivering real value to my clients.
VA School Success Story Panel Experience
Being invited to the panel was a full-circle moment. It was an honor to share my story and to be included alongside such an inspiring group of women entrepreneurs. Together, we reflected on how VA School shaped our businesses and gave us the freedom to design lives that align with our values.
Advice for Aspiring Virtual Assistants
If you’ve ever wondered how to become a virtual assistant with no experience, my story is proof that it’s possible. VA School gives you the roadmap and the confidence to take action.
If you’ve asked yourself, can you really make money as a virtual assistant? the answer is YES—You Absolutely Can!
Final Thoughts
I’m deeply grateful to Belinda Sandor for the opportunity to share my journey and for creating a program that truly changes lives. What started as a leap of faith has turned into a thriving virtual assistant business I love, and I’m excited to see other women step into their own success stories.
