Working from home has its perks, but it can also make it challenging to take a break and step away from your desk.
One easy way to do this is by taking a break for lunch. Not only is it an opportunity to refuel your body, but it can also be a chance to step away from your work and recharge your mind.
If you’re looking for some inspiration for your next work-from-home lunch, here are a few ideas worth taking a break for:
Make a salad: Salads are a great way to pack in a lot of nutrients in one meal. You can make them as simple or as complex as you like, and they’re easy to bring to your desk.
Try a sandwich: Sandwiches are a classic lunchtime staple, and for a good reason, they are easy to make, and you can make so many different types.
Opt for leftovers (My personal fave): If you cooked a big dinner the night before, consider having leftovers for lunch the next day. It’s a quick and easy option that saves time and money.
Make a bowl: Bowls are all the rage these days, and for a good reason. They’re easy to make and a great way to mix and match different ingredients.
Try a wrap: Wraps are similar to sandwiches but a little lighter, and you can add any filling you want. My favorite is a veggie wrap made with a bag of broccoli slaw.
No matter what you choose, take a break and enjoy your lunch. Step away from your work and give yourself some time to recharge.
